The 2008 California State Association of Free Will Baptists State Meeting will be held May 22-23, 2008 at the State Auditorium on the campus of California Christian College. The speaker this year will be DR. Robert E. Picirilli  He will be speaking Thursday evening at 7:00PM, Friday evening at 7:00PM & 8:00PM.

Dr. Robert E Picirilli is former Academic dean and professor of Greek and new Testament studies at Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville Tennessee. He has been teaching, preaching, and writing Armenian theology for more than 50 years. Since 1983, he has served as the General Editor of the Randall House Bible Commentary, and, in that series has contributed the volumes on 1&2 Corinthians, Ephesians, Philippians, and 1&2 Thessalonians. His other published works include the books Paul the apostle, Book of Galatians, Romans and A Survey of the Pauline Epistles, as well as numerous booklets and articles in denominational publications and theological journals

Business this year will take place Friday morning from 8:30AM until lunch.

Among the business discussion will be the shutting down of the State Office. This will effect the future of California Free Will Baptists. Please come and voice your concerns, ideas, and the solutions.

Friday Afternoon will be fellowship and free time.

Friday evening at 5:45 a California Free Will Baptists dinner will be presented in the California Christian College gymnasium before the concluding sessions by Dr. Picirilli.

NOTE: Due to recent surgery, Dr. Picirilli will not be able to attend the 2008
              California State Meeting. Dr. Garrett Reid from Free Will Baptist
              Bible will be the 2008 speaker.
